Inspiration

At Mayever, we believe that travel is a transformative experience, one that fosters growth, connection, and discovery—for everyone. That’s why we're spotlighting an underserved part of the Israel travel industry—but one that Mayever prioritizes as part of our suite of offerings to help families with members who have special needs experience the magic of the Jewish homeland.

Volunteering is one of the most meaningful ways to engage with a destination, fostering a deep connection between travelers and the communities they visit. Whether you’re traveling with a family, congregation, or community group, integrating volunteer experiences into your itinerary creates a journey filled with purpose, impact, and personal growth. At Mayever, we specialize in custom-built international trips, weaving in opportunities that allow our travelers to give back while immersing themselves in the culture and history of their destinations.

When people think of Israel, they often picture ancient history, breathtaking landscapes, and deep cultural roots. But what many travelers don’t realize is that Israel is also home to a world-class culinary scene, with some of the finest restaurants in the Middle East. From Tel Aviv’s vibrant food culture to Jerusalem’s historic dining experiences and the fresh Mediterranean flavors of the coast, Israel offers an unforgettable gastronomic adventure.

Israel is a land of history, culture, and breathtaking landscapes, but it is also an incredible playground for families. From hands-on historical explorations to outdoor adventures and interactive museums, there is no shortage of experiences to captivate children of all ages. At Mayever, we believe that travel is more than just sightseeing—it is about creating connections, fostering curiosity, and building lifelong memories. Whether you are a first-time visitor or returning for a deeper exploration, here are some of the most exciting and kid-friendly experiences in Israel.

As Israel resumes its defensive war to bring home its beloved hostages, Mayever returned only days ago from leading Aliyah Chet, Heilicher Minneapolis Jewish Day School's inaugural 8th-grade trip to Israel. From the Negev desert to Jerusalem's Old City and the vibrant streets of Tel Aviv, students safely explored the richness of Israel firsthand, deepening their connection to the land, the people, and the Jewish story.
