Bound for Europe: We are leading Congregation Beth Israel’s (Houston) journey to Central Europe through the timeless cities of Budapest, Prague, Slovakia, and Vienna—each steeped in vibrant Jewish history, culture, and memory. The congregation tapped Mayever to curate an experience for more than 30 congregants that deepens their understanding of Jewish history in Europe while savoring the flavors, stories, and hospitality of each destination. 

Experience Snapshot: The itinerary includes the following:

• In Budapest: The Jewish Quarter; thermal baths; Dohány Street Synagogue; Buda Castle; Beryl Memorial (the Shoes on the Danube); a night cruise along the Danube River; Visegrád Castle, and more.
   
• In Slovakia: The breathtaking Bratislava Castle; visit Michael’s Gate and Town Hall Square in Old Town; The Jewish Museum and heritage tour; a wine-wine-tasting tour at a local vineyard, and more.
   
• In Prague: Visit The Villa Tugendhat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an iconic example of modern architecture; explore the Brno Old Town and Freedom Square, visit the Jewish Quarter and Old Jewish Cemetery; take a day trip to Kutná Hora, visit the Sedlec Ossuary (Bone Church), visit Letná Park for panoramic views of the city and the Vltava River, and more.
   
• And in Vienna: Visit the legendary Vienna State Opera House, stroll through the vibrant Naschmarkt open-air market, see the magnificent Belvedere Palace, visit the Jewish Museum Vienna, and more!
