Leading YourJewish's Journey to the Heart of Argentina

Leading YourJewish's Journey to the Heart of Argentina

Boasting the largest Jewish population in South America, Argentina must be felt and experienced.

Mayever is currently planning journeys from start to finish, handling every detail with precision and care to bring organizations and families to Buenos Aries’ vibrant Jewish community.

This year, Mayever is leading YourJewish—a nonprofit dedicated to uplifting and connecting those who are unengaged and under-engaged in Jewish life—on a multi-day experience through the beating heart of Argentina.

Mayever is organizing every activity, excursion, transportation needs, and top tier local experts on the ground. Together, the group will meet local leaders, visit landmarks of significance, and explore the intersections of Argentinian and Jewish identity.

The journey includes:

  • A visit to the Argentine Israeli Mutual Association (AMIA) building site—the institutional heart of the Buenos Aires Jewish community—destroyed in a 1994 terror car-bombing
  • The renowned Jewish Museum and Holocaust Museum
  • Tour of the Libertad Synagogue, a beautiful reform congregation
  • Tour of Recoleta, a stunning neighborhood in northern Buenos Aries
  • Tango Show and Dinner at Mansióntango
  • Shabbat and dinner at Fundación Judaica, an community-based organization
  • San Telmo, the oldest neighborhood in Buenos Aires
  • Graffiti Tour around Palermo in northern Argentina
  • Museo de ArteModerno, a modern art museum in San Telmo
  • A stop at Plaza de Mayo, a city square and the foundational site of Buenos Aires
  • And so much more.

Mayever is proud to offer this one-of-a-kind journey that brings travelers face-to-face with the people, places, and past that shape Jewish life in South America today.
